Being Vulnerable Is Worth It!

Let Me Share A Bit Of My Story With You.

It was a little over two years ago that I began my journey of pursuing an online business.

I was taking an online course and boy was the material confusing.

(Excellent course, the confusion was my lack of tech knowledge.)

If only I could get one on one help, I thought, then I could do this thing.

When I see something done than I can do it no problem!

In April of 2017 James & I Went To A Business Class in Washington D.C.

Each student in class had to come to this 5 day hands on experience with a niche chosen and some homework completed.

Choosing health for my niche seemed logical since I like learning about ways to keep the girls healthy and get them better when they’re sick.

Even at that time I thought about doing something to help moms but I didn’t know what to do exactly or how that would work as my niche.

So I stayed with the health niche.

I Pursued It For Over A Year.

The results weren’t as good as I had anticipated but I stuck with it. Eventually I lost the drive for the health niche and decided it was time for a change.

Last summer I thought I’d transition away from health and pursue my art as a business focal point.

Even then God kept bringing up blogging.

(My heart is really with moms and helping to ease the journey.)

He showed me that through blogging I can encourage others, which I love to do, along with sharing my other interests.

By fall I decided to blog and help moms with what I’m learning on my journey through motherhood.

The blog would be my hub and I could channel all my other passions through it.

Blogging Is a Brilliant Way To Incorporate All My Pursuits.

Why didn’t I think of it sooner?

It was ironic, later I found notes about pursing blogging from May of ’18.

The idea had been there and I was distracted away from it.

God is persistent but He’s a gentleman and He invites us but there is no force or guilt in Him.

God is sweet and I love how He keeps “re-inviting” me until I come around.

Eventually I get it. Hahaha!

2 Years Of Continuously Stepping Out Of My Comfort Zone!

Flying to D.C. was huge for me. I have to say going to a big city makes me feel small. I’ve heard other people say wide open space out in the country make them feel the same way.

I guess it’s what you’re used to.

James and I had a blast that week.

We got to eat out every night without children.

Building an online business, evenings together and meeting new friends from all over the world was a bonding experience for us.

At the Master’s class in D.C. they kept telling us to Trust The Process.

If any students got carried away with too many questions…T.T.P. was their answer for us.

I Returned To D.C. Twice Last Year For Other Classes With The Same Company.

For those two classes I went on my own as James had so much work to do here on the ranch and girls to keep track of.

Trusting that what God has for me is good and that it’s going to serve and bless others has been and continues to be an incredible journey!

Isn’t it funny that computers and tech have never been my strong suit?

Plus, God’s asking me to be vulnerable and step out by sharing my story.

I’m a very private person and I’d rather not but if my story can help even one person, it’s worth the discomfort I feel.

The crazy thing is I’m beginning to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

It’s amazing when you continue to push through, you grow.

Has there been a time that God pursued you about something until you “got it”?

What is He showing you now?

I’d love to hear from you.

I hope my story is an encouragement to you that God pursues you and that He’s guiding you no matter where you are in your journey.

AND that the journey is a gift. Treasure everyday of it!
